Suzy Esstman was a vibrant and active woman who was diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2003.  Rather than sinking into depression, she used her condition as an opportunity to help others by starting Walk on Sunshine in an attempt to find a cure for brain cancer.  Unfortunately, Suzy lost her battle with cancer in 2007 but the group continues to honor Suzy by stepping closer each year to a cure for brain tumors.
