Suzy Esstman was a vibrant and active woman who was diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2003.  Rather than sinking into depression, she used her condition as an opportunity to help others; creating Walk on Sunshine in order to raise funds that support the continuing research necessary to find a cure for brain tumors.  Sadly, Suzy lost her battle with cancer in 2007, but Walk on Sunshine continues to honor Suzy and her legacy by each year stepping closer to a cure for brain tumors.
